The Empee Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (A statutory body under the Govt. Of India) and affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Govt.of Tamil Nadu.

The Institute has come into existence on 5th August 1994. During this short span, the EIHMCT has been recognized as one of the premier Catering Institutes in India, which posses all the hallmarks of a professional body in pursuit of excellence.
